Trainings & Courses

  • A Scoliosis Exploration

This 4-week course is for people with scoliosis or for movement professionals who work with those with scoliosis. Scoliosis can feel like a scary diagnosis, but it doesn’t have to be. Our philosophy is that understanding the body more - how it is designed, how it moves, and how it adapts - enables us to work with the body’s patterns to improve balance and function with ease.

  • Dissection & Embodiment Experience

Dates for 2024 labs: July 14-20 or October 6-11.

Work with a group of fellow explorers to journey through the body layer by layer by dissecting unfixed cadavers in small groups with expert guidance. Then apply and experience your new hands on insights in motion through Franklin Method-based embodiment of the tissues, bones, and organs.

  • From the Ground Up

Improve foot pain, plantar fasciitis, bunions, and more!

A 4-week course of short, doable videos that are yours to keep/practice with for a lifetime. Healthy feet need to be strong yet supple. Our practices will help you identify your current foot patterns and develop the strength and mobility you need for healthy foot function.

“She is a treasure as a person
& a teacher.”

“As a physician, I have seen a great deal of benefit in her methods, which truly emphasize working with what one has, with no sense of a " one size fits all" approach. She tailors the yoga to my body and has enabled me to do my best.”

Upcoming Workshops at Oregon School of Massage

  • Franklin Method: Muscles for Healthy Breathing

    Saturday, May 18th - 9:00am-12:00pm PST

With a spotlight on the functional biomotion of the most important breathing muscle, the diaphragm, we will also embody muscles that assist healthy breathing. The results are not only the positive effects that come from good breathing (calm nervous system, better digestion, more energy) but embodying the muscles that support healthy breathing can greatly improve lower back, neck and shoulder tension as well.

This class is OPEN to the public, counts for CEs for LMT’s and is held over Zoom. For more information on registering for class please reach out to OSM directly here

  • Franklin Method for the Adductors/Abductors of the Hip

    Saturday, June 1st - 9:00am-12:00pm PST

In this course we will not only embody these muscles in hip adduction and abduction, we will explore their other important functions/movements as well as experience fascial connections with the back, the knee and the pelvic floor. This can help create a "doorway" to working with your clients as well as to your own motion/posture as well.

This class is OPEN to the public, counts for CEs for LMT’s and is held over Zoom. For more information on registering for class please reach out to OSM directly here
